Sweden Road Trip

A day before my friend Matyas left Budapest to drive his car back home to Sweden (Gothenburg) and work there for the summer, he asked if I wanted to come with him. So of course, I decided to go to Sweden, I mean who wouldn't want to see Sweden. 3 hour before we left his Hungarian cousin decided to come too. They were speaking Hungarain a lot and it was basically a 24 hour trip with the ferry and stopping to sleep, but it was really fun.

Me and Matyas on the way to Sweden.

The sunset in the Czech Republic.

Markos sleeping, this is basically what he did the entire trip while I stayed up so Matyas wouldn't have to be the only one awake.

Matyas and Markos on the ferry from Germany to the east coast of Sweden.

Just a picture from the ferry.

Our first glimpse of Sweden.

Matyas's parents came to pick us up at the ferry so we went out to lunch, this is Matyas and his parents at lunch.
Matyas's house was beautiful. This is the view from his house, it over looks the sea. He is so lucky!

The first night we just went to see some of his friends that I had met when they came to visit him in Budapest. Oskar is happy to see me again.

The next day we went on his friend Erik's boat. This is me and Markos on the boat.

Erik's house is literally right next to the harbor.

Typical Swedish houses.

It started to rain on the boat so we came back and went out for sushi.

The next day Matyas's sister Anna and her friend Anna (apparently a common Swedish name) took me into downtown Gothenburg. This is the oldest area of downtown.

They call Gothenburg little London because English people moved there built houses like in London.

Anna and Anna.

The opera house, it is supposed to resemble a boat.

This is apparently the most famous building in Gothenburg.
